Green plants are absent in deep sea. Why?

Environmental Science

A. Light is absent
B. High pressure
C. Low temperature
D. Great depth

Green plants are not found beyond a certain depth in the ocean because light can not penetrate deep into the ocean so, no producers are found in that zone as in the absence of sunlight green plants will not be able to produce food by photosynthesis.
